Awards night DJ · CopenhagenEvery winner gets a walk-up.

An awards show lives on timing. Each name read out needs music within a second, and each winner needs to reach the stage without silence trailing behind them.

We work from your category list and running order, preparing short stings for nominees, a walk-up track for winners and a soft bed under the host’s links. Once the final award is handed over, the stage music turns into a dance set.

Cues, stings and a party after.

  1. 01

    Walk-up stings

A short, recognisable piece starts the instant a winner is named and stops as they reach the microphone.

  2. 02

    Category-by-category plan

Your running order becomes our cue sheet, with each award, presenter and acceptance speech marked.

  3. 03

    Support for the host

Low background beds under the host’s links keep the show moving without covering a single word.

  4. 04

    Cues tested on site

We test the cues with the host and stage manager before doors open, so the timing feels practised.

  5. 05

    Celebration set

Winners, nominees and everyone else in the room end the night on the same dance floor.

Awards night DJ — FAQ

Can each winner have their own walk-up song?

Yes, if you send the list in advance. Many organisers prefer one signature sting for every winner, which keeps the pace up. Personal tracks work best at smaller ceremonies with only a few categories.

What if the running order changes on the night?

It often does. We keep the cue sheet open beside the controller and stay in contact with the stage manager or host, so a moved category or a late presenter never leaves a gap.

Do you need the winners’ names beforehand?

Not necessarily. Sealed envelopes are fine — we only need the categories, the number of nominees and the order. Prepared stings play the same way whoever wins.

How long is a typical awards evening?

The ceremony itself usually takes one to two hours, with dinner and dancing around it. The Corporate Sound package covers up to 4 hours; tell us if your full evening runs longer.
