Blog · Booking adviceHow Far in Advance Should You Book an Event DJ?
Recommended booking lead times for event DJs in Copenhagen: store events, corporate parties, julefrokost season, summer parties and weddings.

Short answer
Book an event DJ 4–8 weeks ahead for most store and corporate events, 2–4 months ahead for julefrokost dates in November and December and for summer Fridays, and 6–12 months ahead for weddings. Short-notice bookings are sometimes possible, but you lose the choice of dates.
Recommended lead times
| Event | Book this far ahead |
|---|---|
| Store opening, pop-up, shopping evening | 4–8 weeks |
| Networking reception, fredagsbar | 3–6 weeks |
| Julefrokost (November–December) | 2–4 months |
| Sommerfest, June–August Fridays | 2–3 months |
| Wedding | 6–12 months |
Why December fills up first
Most Danish companies hold their julefrokost on a Friday or Saturday between late November and mid-December. That is only a handful of evenings for a whole city, so the best dates go early. See our Christmas party DJ page for that season.

What if our event date changes?
Get in touch as soon as you know. A move to another available date is usually straightforward.
