Opening night DJ · Launch party · CopenhagenNew venue, first party.

A new restaurant, bar, studio or office only gets one first night. It is when neighbours, future regulars, suppliers and friends decide what kind of place it is going to be.

We plan the music around how your guests will move: welcome drinks at the door, a tour or a tasting, a few words from the owners, then a longer party set once people relax into the space.

Any venue, its own night.

  1. 01

    Restaurants & cafés

Music around a tasting menu, canapés or an open kitchen, kept below the sound of plates and service.

  2. 02

    Bars

A set that shows off the room the way it will sound on a busy Friday, so guests know what to come back for.

  3. 03

    Studios & salons

Yoga, fitness, beauty and hair studios often open with demos or treatments. We work the music around those slots.

  4. 04

    New offices

An office warming for clients and staff, with a tour of the premises, a toast and drinks in the new space.

  5. 05

    The owners’ welcome

The music drops for the welcome and the thank-yous, then returns as the bar opens.

Doors openPOPUP SOUND

Corporate Sound for a full opening night.

An opening night tends to run three to four hours from the first guest to the last song, so Corporate Sound fits well: up to four hours of DJ performance, sound equipment, music planning and coordination around your running order. It starts at DKK 7,500 excluding VAT.

For a short two-hour opening reception, Pop-Up DJ from DKK 3,500 is enough. Photography can be added with Sound & Stories.

Opening night DJ — FAQ

Do you only play at shop openings?

No. This page is for any new venue — restaurants, bars, cafés, studios, salons, offices and event spaces. For retail openings with customers and press, see our store opening DJ page.

Can the DJ use the venue’s own sound system?

Sometimes. Bars and restaurants often have installed speakers. Tell us what is there and we decide together whether to connect to it or bring our own system for the agreed setup.

What about neighbours and closing time?

New venues often come with volume or time conditions. Let us know about them when you enquire, and we plan the set and the final song so the party ends within them.

What should we include in our enquiry?

The type of venue, the address, the date, the hours of the party, the expected number of guests and anything on the programme, such as speeches, a tasting or a ribbon. We reply with a written proposal.
