Re-opening DJ · Relaunch · CopenhagenSame address, new story.

A re-opening has to win back people who already know you. Regulars want to see what has changed; lapsed customers need a reason to return.

We pick music that reflects the new concept rather than the old one, play it while guests explore the refit, and time the changes around the reveal of the new interior, a talk about the relaunch or an anniversary toast.

Show what has changed.

  1. 01

    After a renovation

New floors, new lighting, new layout. We place the setup so the redesigned areas stay open for guests to see.

  2. 02

    New concept relaunch

A changed name, menu or product mix calls for a different sound. We agree a musical direction that points where the business is heading.

  3. 03

    Anniversary re-openings

Ten years on the same street? We mix music from the year you opened with what you stand for now.

  4. 04

    Welcome back, regulars

Familiar faces tend to arrive first. Warm, recognisable music at the start makes the new space feel like theirs again.

  5. 05

    Before and after photos

Photography can capture the new interior full of people — useful next to the pictures from before the refit.

Re-opening DJ — FAQ

Can you play in a space that has just been renovated?

Yes. We take care with fresh floors, painted walls and new fixtures, use protective mats where needed and keep cables tidy. If a painter or carpenter is still finishing something on the day itself, just let us know.

How do we make a relaunch sound different from before?

Tell us what has changed and why — a new concept, a new audience, a new name. In the quote we suggest a musical direction that points to the new identity rather than repeating the old in-store playlist.

Can you do an anniversary night in the existing space?

Yes. An anniversary re-opening works well with a set that travels from the year you opened to today. Send us the year and a few key memories and we build from there.

Is this the same as your store opening service?

Partly. A re-opening is mainly about bringing existing customers back through the door and showing them what is new. For a first opening, see the store opening DJ page.
